Med School

It's been forever since I've posted on the blog and I blame it on med school. I don't even know how to describe med school. It's like pledging a co-ed academic fraternity with 186 amazing friends (who you get to know very well because you spend almost every second of the day with them) and constantly getting hazed by tests. I go to class, study, run, shower, eat, study, talk to people at VCOM, sleep, and repeat this cycle over and over. I love the social part of school! Everyone in my class is a blast and I've enjoyed getting to know them as I've spent the majority of the last year of my life with them. School is really like a huge fraternity cuz I eat, study, go to class, goof off in class, hang out, party, and do everything in life with the people in my class. This is the awesome part of med school. The sucky part of med school is staring at a computer screen and hitting the 'next' button on power point slides that never end and running all the time to ease my anxiety/stress. I still want to practice medicine more than anything in life. Sometimes I wish I could fastforward to practicing medicine but I know it's getting closer and closer as first year will be done in 5 weeks :)
