Robin van Persie: Can we say MVP? He is without a doubt the best signing United have made in years. Robin carried our team by scoring goals almost at will in the beginning of the season.
Michael Carrick: Once the most underrated member of the team, Carrick is finally getting the appropriate praise for his precise passes in central midfield. His passing statistics are divine for United this year. He should be mentioned in the likes of Xavi and other world class central midfielders.
Rooney: Wayne Rooney is still Wayne Rooney, regardless of how many goals he scores a season. Although he scored less goals than his normal high standard at the beginning of the year, he is currently back in tremendous goal-scoring form. He is not going anywhere! As a center forward, he tracks back to cover the entire pitch. I still think he is like Sir Alex Ferguson's goldenboy.
Rio: Although Rio is getting older, he has improved in technical defending this year. His excellent form has made Roy Hodgson recall him to the England squad, which he ended up turning down. I hope he retires at United. I could see him playing on a year to year contract much like Giggs and Scholes.
Evra: Last year all the critics of Evra were calling for his head. This year they are praising Evra. He has been in tremendous form and provided goals galore.
David De Gea: He has always had my full support as the man between the posts for United. His reflexes for stopping shots are already world class and unteachable. He has made unexplainable saves this year and kept us single-handedly in games (e.g. Real Madrid Champions League game 1). With coaching on how to stop corners and catch better, he will develop into a world class keeper. Why on earth would we ever sell him when he could be one of the best in the world with his reflexes?
Kagawa: He has shown brilliance in some games this season (e.g. his hat trick at Norwich). Unfortunately, we haven't seen him play enough because of his mid-season injuries. I love his style as a CAM and think he is a great pickup from last summer.
Buttner: An excellent backup at Left Back behind Evra. He has shown attacking brilliance and some amazing dribbles past defenders this year. Sometimes I get him and Cleverley mixed up when they are both on the pitch cuz they look alike.
Cleverley: This lad is a brilliant young central midfielder. He looks the possible successor to Scholes. He has brought speed into central midfield. When combined with Anderson, he provides that fast tiki-taka passing style that is a delight to watch.
Anderson: He has been improving this year. I like to watch him with Cleverley in central midfield. My only critique is he can be inconsistent. Some games he looks world-class with goals and assists galore. Some games he seems non-existent.
Giggs: He will play until he dies on the pitch. Always there for United when needed.
Scholes: I still love Scholes. He is a great field-master in central mid with amazing vision. I'm glad he returned from retirement but it's nice that our central midfield looks capable of playing without him when he does officially retire. I'm glad at 38 years old he still cannot tackle.
Vidic: He is still a rock in defense. I wish he could play more games but ever since that ACL tear he can only play once a week it seems. I still think he is a world class central defender.
Johnny Evans: He has provided excellent cover in our defense this year. He has surely silenced any critics this year.
Rafael: He has secured his starting job at Right Back. Once a red card threatening machine, he has controlled his game and become an excellent attacking right back. I love what he does on the right flank. I love that goal he scored at QPR.
Valencia: It's near impossible to repeat his form from last year. Even though his numbers of assists and goals are down, I think he can recover in form and and keep those excellent crosses into the box coming. He seems a bit dependent on his right foot. I hope this summer he practices dribbling to the left more often.
Phil Jones: What a utility player! He can play CDM, CB, RB, etc. His role has been more solidified as a CDM but he could be the future CB of Man United. I think his defense and one-to-one coverage on his man is world-class.
Nani: Despite the rumors linking Nani to other places all year, I still think he could have a future with Manchester United. He has that ability to completely change a game by himself. His pace and dribbling are phenomenal. I hope he stays at United.
Chicharito: Super-sub! He comes in with 10 minutes left in games and he scores goals. Not just one but sometimes two or three goals.
Welbeck: Great technical abilities as a young striker. Some critics say he should finish better, but that will come with time. Did I mention, he is either the third or fourth on the depth chart for strikers? That's how deep we are at striker.
Lindegaard- An excellent backup. He gave DeGea some fight for the #1 spot. Once he was injured, DeGea claimed the number one spot, but I think Lindegaard is excellent.
Smalling: I think he is great in central defense. Everytime I see him I think of that game last year where he wore a doo-rag and laugh out loud.
Nick Powell: Another promising prospect in our central midfield. I've seen some great long shots from him. I need to see more of him playing to make much of an assessment.
Fletcher: He couldn't play much this year. Get well soon!!
Ashley Young: Well, it's been a mediocre season for Young. Last year was a lot better for him. This sounds like Valencia's year too.
Amos- I haven't seen enough on him to comment.
Sir Alex Ferguson: Legend!
